Also, I’ve found that a lot of professionals, while at their desk, rest their hands on their chin or cheek and breakout.

Most people don’t constantly wash their hands and you never know what type of oils and bacteria could be looming, just waiting to make you breakout.

Well, I can’t disagree with NYC at all. It’s much better for the kidneys too not just our weight. People just don’t seem to recognize that even though it’s a liquid it’s going to affect our weight. Moderation is key in most everything and I’m not going to say cut out the cola’s all together, because I do enjoy one myself on occasion but it’s not an everyday drink for me.

I am totally convinced that this is a very real addiction. I know some people personally that I think suffer from the ailment. I know too that a lot of people think its confined solely to women, but some of the worst addicts I know are men.

I think each individual has to do their own personal risk assessment and decide if the risk here is worth the reward they get out of it. With tanning, I don’t think you can ever say it is. There are plenty of other alternatives that don’t have the skin cancer risk associated with them. Like any addiction though, its easier said than done.
