The signature Micro Facial (80 minutes, $160) includes cleansing with Shizuka’s all-natural skincare products, the Shizuka New York Skincare System, exfoliation, Shizuka’s signature painless pore extraction, facial massage, light massage of the hands, feet and shoulders, and a hydrating collagen mask. A truly rejuvenating experience, the signature Micro Facial is the most popular facial treatment at Shizuka New York Day Spa.
The Classic Facial (50 minutes, $110) includes all the most important elements a facial treatment should have, including cleansing exfoliation, pore extraction and hydration. At 50 minutes, it is conveniently scheduled during lunchtime or anytime you need to look your best.
The Geisha Facial (60 minutes, $180) is probably Shizuka New York Day Spa’s most famous facial treatment, having been featured on television specials around the world for its use of a unique Japanese ingredient…nightingale droppings. Also known as the “Bird Poop Facial,” Shizuka’s Geisha Facial is a full facial treatment that also includes cleansing, pore extraction and facial massage with extracts from the camellia blossom, a relative of the green tea plant, and a collagen mask.
Photo Facials
Shizuka New York Day Spa uses Intense Pulsed Light to treat a number of skin conditions. The Anti-Aging Photo Facial (60 minutes, $250; Best Facial 2005 in New York Magazine) treats hyperpigmentation (sun and age spots), broken capillaries and rosacea. The Acne Facial (80 minutes, 200) uses IPL to neutralize bacteria, helping breakouts to heal faster and preventing future breakouts.

Facial Rejuvenation Treatments
Facial Rejuvenation techniques at Shizuka New York Day Spa include microcurrent facial toning, ionizing and skin brightening, microdermabrasion and Intense Pulsed Light treatments. The Facial Rejuvenation Series includes facial treatments that combine these anti-aging facial techniques for enhanced results.
The Microcurrent Facial (80 min, $270) uses light microdermabrasion combined with facial toning to stimulate facial muscles, oxygenate the skin and allow deeper penetration of vitamins and anti-oxidants.
The light microdermabrasion in Shizuka New York Day Spa’s Ionizing Facial (80 min, $230) enhances the skin brightening effects of ionization.
Microcurrent facial toning is enhanced by additional collagen stimulation using Intense Pulsed Light in the Firming Photo Rejuvenation (80 min, $350), while skin lightening is enhanced by the treatment of hyperpigmentation (sun spots and age spots) in the Brightening Photo Rejuvenation (80 min, $300).
