Shizuka's new Geisha Facial was featured in New York Magazine (Intelligencer) for its use of an unusual Japanese ingredient, uguisu no fun (powdered nightingale droppings), a centuries-old facial ingredient discovered by geisha who suffered skin and health afflictions due to the lead and zinc in their makeup. The uguisu no fun in Shizuka NY's Geisha Facial is sterilized under ultraviolet light and milled into a fine powder before being applied to the skin. Shizuka invites you to personally try the facial that is now the talk of New York City!
