SPA APPOINTMENTS
We recommend reserving your spa appointment at Shizuka New York Day Spa in advance as we are not always available to accomodate walk-in clients. For spa packages, we recommend reserving your appointment 1-2 weeks in advance to help us better accomodate your date and time requests.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment at Shizuka New York Day Spa to ensure that you receive full service.
- For guests new to Shizuka New York Day Spa, we will ask you to fill out our client information form before your spa appointment.
- For photo facial, laser hair removal, and facial peel consultations, we will ask you to look over our informational forms before your consultation.
- For some spa facial and massage clients, we may ask you to change into a Japanese Yukata robe and slippers in our lounge area.
- For Eyelash Perm, Extensions and Tinting clients, we ask that you remove your contacts and eye makeup before treatment. Contact solution, temporary lens storage cups and makeup remover are available in our lounge.
We recommend reserving a future spa appointment upon completion of the current one so we can better accommodate your wishes.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Shizuka New York City Day Spa requires a minimum 24 hours advance notice for all cancellations. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule. Shizuka New York Day Spa provides a complimentary confirmation call 2 days in advance of your appointment, when possible. Same-day cancellations are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled spa service(s). Failure to show up without a cancellation call may result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service(s).
PAYMENT METHODS
Shizuka New York Day Spa accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB credit cards, travelers' checks, and Shizuka New York Day Spa Gift Certificates. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept personal checks.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is not included in the spa treatment prices, but is always appreciated. Standard gratuity in New York is 15 - 20% of the original price of the service(s). Cash is preferred, although we are happy to add gratuity to a charge with advance notice.
